​What is a general description of the tracker?

It's very low-key/discreet by design. It's small, hides easily and can be installed practically anywhere in the vehicle.

- Where can I find pictures or exact dimensions of the tracker?

For your security we do not publish pictures or exact dimensions of the tracker in the public domain. 

​

​

- Can the system work on Android, iOS, iPadOS, Windows, macOS, visionOS, linux, etc?
The
WebApp is accessible via any modern browser and would work on any of the above operating systems. SMS capabilities are also included.

​

​

- Are communications satellite or cellular based?
The system uses the cellular network, however unlike most other tracking systems on the market, the system was engineered to work in deeply rural areas where cellular calls will not work, while maintaining real-time updates (i.e. not buffered and sent later).

 

This allows customers in deeply rural areas to have resilient communications similar to satellite communications with the fast update rates, lower operational/subscription costs and SMS capabilities that cellular systems offer.

Operators benefitting from this tracking technology would include: Farmers, forestry management services, off-roaders, upstream oil services, quarries, delivery services, construction services, civil infrastructure management, private customers in deeply rural areas, etc.

​

This feature is also beneficial from a security aspect as it stops criminals from using cellular dead-zones as a way to hide stolen assets.

- What network provider can the system work on?
The system can work with either provider. Users do not need to provide SIM cards or chose a network provider. The current system is 2G & 3G capable.

- Can I track assets in Tobago?

Yes.

​

​

- Can I carry my car from Trinidad over to Tobago and track it over there?

Yes, the same goes for Tobagonian customers coming to Trinidad.

- If I travel outside of the country, can I still track my assets that stay in TnT?

Yes.

​

​

- Is the system reliable?

Yes, this product line has been undergoing development and testing for some years now. The result is a high quality, performant system.

 

Our confidence shows in the warranty. The WebApp service is covered by an uptime guarantee and our hardware is backed by a 5 year warranty for typical vehicle installations.

- Where can I find the user guide for the tracker?

- What is the cost for a customised device or to implement a customised feature?

Customisation costs depend on the expected engineering effort to achieve the requirement, quantity of units being requested, level of exclusivity for the design effort, along with external factors such as the priority of competing projects.

- Can customisation be done after purchase?
Software-only customisations can be done at any time after purchasing, as long as the features being requested are supported by the hardware in place.

- Are white-label solutions available?

- Are self-install options available?

For the typical scenario (installations requiring concealment and integrating with the vehicles electrical system), self-install options are not available.

​

- How much time is required for an installation?
The typical installation scenario takes 3-4hrs per vehicle for proper concealment of the device.

- Are tests done on the vehicle during installation?

Yes, electrical system tests are done before and after installation.

​

​

- Does the GPS antenna need to be visible/sit on top of the dashboard? 
No, Our system does not require installation in any fixed/easy to guess places (e.g. OBD ports) allowing us to choose a location with optimal concealment.

​

- Does the device need to connect to the alarm or brain box?

No, the units were designed to be standalone. No additional connections are needed other than a power supply. No recharging of batteries (if included) is needed. Customers requesting the kill switch option would require some additional connections.

​

We can also completely avoid connecting to the vehicle wiring harness (customers wishing to have this option need to notify us in advance).

​

​

- Do I need to purchase a SIM card?

No SIM card purchase is required by the customer, the trackers ship with SIM cards in place, Additionally, no account maintenance by the customer is typically necessary as mobile account maintenance is already included in the subscription fee.

​

- Is anyone monitoring the location of assets?
No. The system was developed with privacy in mind, no one other than end users, or those granted access by the end users monitor the location.

​

There are insiders in some security companies giving information to criminals, or acquaintances of customers without consent. Limiting access to only the end users prevents these scenarios.

​

For security applications, it is recommended that a trusted person outside of the household be given access in the event that all smartphones, laptops, tablets are taken.

- What is the cost of the system?

Our pricing information covers typical requests. Additional selected options would be reflected via quote after signing up.
